You don’t need an antistatic strap to install anything. Just ground your self by holding the side of the computer. The only reason you’d need to worry about static is if you have 40 cats rubbing against you. I’ve put computers together on carpets before.

You can buy one at Best Buy, look for the brands ATi and nVidia. A $150 card will get you really good performance, but something for $100 or a little more will do. make sure you install it with an anti-static wristband (about $5) so you don’t damage your circuitry with miniscule bits of static.

i bought a pc video game and i couldn’t get it to install, it said that i need a accelerator video card befor i can install the game, what is a video accelerator card and were can i purchase one at and how much, thank you
