The Quick Launch buttons, or those found typically right of the Start button, offer convenient and fast access to often-used programs. If you ever want to enter the Quick Launch folder, it has an actual physical location on the file system. Specifically, this location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch. Use it to create new shortcuts, delete old ones, or if you are very saavy, create quick launch “folders”.
