Add Options to the Send To Menu

Posted Mar 5, 2006 by David Risley

Right clicking on a file or folder and using the Send To feature is a pretty convenient and handy tool. It is even something you can customize so you can include all the programs you want, or exclude those you don’t want. Customize it by doing the following:

1. Start > Run
2. Enter “sendto” in the open box (without the quotes)
3. Drag and drop shortcuts to programs you want to appear as options, or remove those you don’t want.

I always add Notepad to the list so I can open any file as plain text quickly.
