"Oh. Great. Another Flash Player. Why should I get this one?"
This one you should actually pay attention to because there are two notable improvements.
First is the fact there’s a native 64-bit version – and that’s great since many of us (yours truly included) are using 64-bit CPUs with 64-bit Windows these days.
Second, it’s been reported that this Flash player actually ‘plays nice’ with Linux for a change. Version 10 was so-so but never really worked spectacularly in a Linux environment. Version 11 on the other hand should be no-fuss/no-muss for installation and use.
Linux users in particular: Please post your comments on whether or not 11 is any better than 10. Be brutal if you have to. Make sure to list what distro you’re using.
Where to get it: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Remember to close all your browsers first before running the installer.

Flash 10 has always run good on Linux Mint for me it ran better than on windows
This news flashed almost within no time of announcement. But significance of of Flash 11 is in its features which enlist greatly for online video viewing, game playing and developers as well.

I noticed a BIG difference while using Flash 11 here on Fedora 14. Video playback feels smooth and the screen corruption problem described here http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-873599.html is finally gone! This was an issue with Flash & nvidia cards (on Linux systems). I’m VERY happy with this release.
Cheers!
