The Albatron PX845PE Pro II is quite a full-featured motherboard. It incorporates some of the latest technologies including SATA with a stable and overclocker friendly package. But, the fact remains is that there are so many other boards like it, with greater availability as well. I did a quick search on Pricewatch.com and found that there are only three venders carrying this board, one is Newegg which I can recommend from personal experience. Albatron even carries two other 845PE boards without all the features the Pro II adds, so you can buy only what you need/want. Though, you really can’t go wrong with any of the 845PE line from Albatron. Does this board get an Editor’s Choice award? No, because this is the only 845PE motherboard I’ve had the chance to review, but it is certainly a contender at this point.
