The i7-3930K 3.20GHz has a bench mark score of 13544
The FX-8150 has a bench mark score of 8267
The AMD costs less but it is less.

Check cpubenchmarkmark.net.<br

I have been using AMD since the K5, but right now they are pretty far behind as far as speed goes. My last build was the first time i have used a intel chip in about 8 years. :(I still like the "fusion" chips that AMd is putting out, but straight up CPU vs CPU Intel is taking them to the task.

Agree with damien.
