Probably the most used function in browsers is the back button. Odds are when you are done reading this you will use the back button to return the main page. So the easier it is to invoke the back function, the better. A Firefox add-on which make this about as easily as it gets is Middle Click To Go Back.
Functionality is exactly what you would guess, but it does add some additional features:
1. Click middle mouse button on an empty space on the page to go back. (Middle-Click on a link still opens it on a new tab.)
2. Click middle mouse button on an empty space on tab bar to repoen the last closed tab. (clicking middle mouse button on a specific tab still closes that tab.)
3. Click middle mouse button on reload button to duplicate the page. (i.e. to reopen the page on a new tab.)
This is worth a shot if you always end up going to your upper left corner to click the back button.
