There are many security tools out there which test for rootkits in your Windows system, so today I’m going to point you to another one: Sysinternal’s RootkitRevealer.

Like all the great Sysinternal tools, this free utility does not require any installation. Just accept the license agreement and start your system scan. To ensure accuracy, it is recommended you have all your programs close and do not use your computer while the scan is in progress.
