Just about everyone I know jailbreaks there iphone. I have a Blackberry 9530 (Storm) with VZW. AT&T is just crap and so is the iphone. Get a better device.

You are absolutely right.. Apple and AT&T seems to be ruining the life of iPhone. such a nice gem and these people just for profit are not letting us take any advantage. I am from India though but here its again the same case. The carriers are so pathetic that we are not able to get an iPhone which has been publicized by Apple over the two years.

agree. ATT wins hands down as the worst company. No comparison. Twice as expensive. I plan on unlocking my IPhone immediately else just rhrown it away or sell it, I have had it a month and like it but have come to despise ATT and was warned against them.

People don’t get the whole iPhone phenomenon; it’s not a fad, it not an expensive toy, it is the future of all wireless devices that can be carried in our pocket. I avoided the iPhone for two years, but I owned many iPods including the touch, and finally decided I would move up to an iPhone. While it lacks some basic things my Windows Mobile phone can easily do, there are many, many benefits it provides. People can literally have nothing but an iPhone and nothing else. No need for a laptop or internet connection at home, no need for a digital camera or camcorder; the iPod addresses all of these and provides a phone.

So, I am sure you cannot understand, but no one is asking for sympathy. All that iPhone users are asking for is what Apple and AT&T promised to delivery on 2 years ago, and that is why both companies have, and will continue to do so as more people buy iPhones.

I’m having a problem being sympathetic towards people who bought what is essentially an expensive toy for adult boys. I have seen children whine less about their toys that did not work exactly as they would like them to.

As Timmay says, if your toy does not work as you would like it to then fix it with a hack.
