For those not familiar with Clarke, his most famous work is arguably 2001: A Space Odyssey written with Stanley Kubrick. He passed away at 90 in his home in Sri Lanka.

In sci-fi circles (and in many other circles), Clarke was known as a master science fiction writer and captured the wild imagination of space, future and exploration on paper seemingly easily.

Even in his elder years, Clarke routinely used the internet and traded e-mails routinely with friends and fans around the world.

It’s safe to say Clarke will be remembered for many years to come.
