Did you know that from within some BIOS you can configure Num Lock to automatically be On or Off when you boot up your computer? To some, it is one less nuisance to deal with by not having to flip on Num Lock before using the number pad. Consult your motherboard manual for the specific location from within the BIOS to alter this setting. Generally, this feature is tucked away under Boot Settings or Boot Configurations and is pretty easy to find. Alternatively, if one notices that their PC boots up with Num Lock On, and they would prefer this setting to be disabled; this can be done from within the BIOS also.
