Avoid Back and Neck Pain

Posted Jun 14, 2006 by David Risley

Back and neck pains are common to those of us who spend many hours in front of the computer. Fortunately a common remedy for back and neck pain lies not in the computer user, but in the computer user’s environment. Adjustable chairs, tables, and monitors can all assist in relieving any associated back and neck pains. One should adjust their chair so that the back support is in a comfortable position and adjust their monitor so that it is at or just below eye level. Last but not least, the table should be adjusted so that ones arms are in a comfortable position for using the keyboard. Toy around and adjust your chair and monitor until you find the perfect spot for you.
