I have an HP Pavilion ze5700 laptop. The 40gb hard drive crashed and I replaced it with an identical, but 80bg drive. Installation was simple and the jumper was set to cable (on both drives). When I power up the laptop, I entered the BIOS setup (F2) to check my settings. I maintained the auto detect settings and verified the new drive was correctly identified (ST980815A). I hit F10 to save and exit, and after a fews seconds I get an error message that says, Operating System not found. I've tried rebooting from the boot disc that came with the laptop, but get the same message. What am I doing wrong?
