Build Your Own Quick Launch Context Menus

If you don’t like putting all your shortcuts/documents on the desktop or the quick launch bar, using a context (right-click) menu to access these items may be for you. A tool which makes this easy is menuApp.

menuApp is an application which allows you to configure menus and use them to launch your favourite programs, music files, documents, websites, etc.

Its fast, doesn’t hog a lot of resource and is easy to setup and use.

Basically menuApp makes a menu out of the contents of a folder. All programs and documents become a clickable items with sub-folders becoming sub-menus. With a little creativity, this is a pretty powerful tool. You can read about all the options here.

For example, you could make a folder with shortcuts to your most commonly used programs complete with sub-folder organization. Or you can use it for tasks such as creating a menu out of your My Documents or My Music folders.

menuApp is a free tool so if it sounds like something you might like, go get it.
