They believe that if one program or software works forever, you will never buy another one and they will not sell their products. Malicious codes came with many software in the market today.

Many software makers are not trust worthy. The control and laws are in the hands of the bankers :)

just wait till everyone realizes the “laws” are not made by the government, and that in fact, the government has absolutely no control what-so-ever over anything. When I got home, I was utterly disappointed to find out that Drive Copy had made near 1 million mistakes on the CD keys included with the purchase of the software. After cracking the software I just purchased, I felt I had been ripped off for the money I had spent. After purchasing Norton Antivirus a dozen times in the same year and paying for virus updates which are posted free elsewhere on their own site, I realized just how bad the software companies are ripping us off. Autodesk, Adobe and other companies which are the sole focus of BSA, are committing crimes themselves.. not to mention embedding illegal source code in thier applications. Another example is the laptops I recieve for repair, each one has a valid windows sticker on the bottom. Despite the sticker, each user has been forced to re-purchase windows multiple times due to loss of the windows install or product recovery CDs. It is a fact.. The companies make more money reselling software to people they have ripped off than they loose to those who distribute it for free. They need to write better software, not pay a company to attack those who critisize it. Its a delicate balance of good and evil dependent on each other, companies like Norton would not exist without the presense reverse engineering.. save forcing thier crappy software down our throats *pokes acrobat*

I went out software shopping awhile ago, and purchased some new software for my computer. The BSA is just one more infringement on our rights as citizens of this world. The internet should remain unsensored, and the public needs to be educated not protected. Where is the BSA getting all this reward money from anyway? o.0 Is it being added to the cost of our software and donated by corrupt software companies like adobe systems? This is clearly a scam, and BSA is misusing thier stats on purpose in order to benefit thier own organization, which is a criminal offense. This brings me to my final point, there is no one governing BSA to insure that they themselves follow the rules.

It is not our responsibility nor is it a law to save receipts.
