You may not realize it, but the refresh rate of a monitor’s output is probably the most common reason that people have trouble viewing PC monitors. To make the rate easier on the eyes, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> Monitor and change the refresh rate in the drop-down box to the highest supported level. In most cases, higher refresh rates are easier on the eyes and the difference is subtle but noticable over time.
