A good system maintenance task to run during the time when you run your anti-spyware scans is to clear your browser cache of any sensitive data (such as stored passwords). While this is certainly not a requirement, if you like to keep your system secure with a high level of security, here is how you do this on the two major browsers:

  • IE7: Tools > Delete Browsing History (you will be prompted for what to delete).
  • Firefox 2: Tools > Clear Private Data.
