The keyboard is one of the most essential peripherals of a computer. We use the keyboard for everything, from the minutest tasks like writing instant messages to massive projects like writing a book. After a while, a poor keyboard can result in a lot of wrist pain and poor keyboarding habits. So why is it that most generic name-brand PCs come with uncomfortable, lousy keyboards? My advice to you is to go to your local hardware or office supply store and play around with the available keyboards. Test them all and find one that is right for you. Also, since everyone’s hand is a different shape and size, it might be advisable to look into multiple keyboards for multi-user PCs. Believe me, finding the right keyboard for you can relieve a lot of wrist and arm pain and make your whole computing process more comfortable.
