Computer Case Giveaway

We are going to begin doing giveaways here on PCMech.com. And first things first, I’m going to start unloading some of the hardware I have stocked up around here.

So, here are the requirements to enter our contest giveaway:

  1. You must be subscribed to our weekly newsletter list. You can subscribe from our newsletters page or via the form to the right. The winner will be announced via this mailing list.
  2. You must post at least one of the following: (1) a comment on this post, or (2) a comment on this video on Youtube.com, or (3) a video response on this video on Youtube. Your entry must answer the following question:

“Why Do You Want To Win This Giveaway?”

I will take each of the answers to this question and choose the one I like best. So, be creative and let’s have some fun with it.

You can view more details on the prize by visiting the Nzxt Tempest product page.

I will announce the winner in two weeks. More specifically, on October 1st, 2008. I will cover shipping expenses to ship this case to you, so it is indeed a giveaway.

May the best geek win!

  1. Awesome looking case. I’ve got a great system, and the 4x200gig drives, that would fit right in it. What would be really great, if I were the lucky winner, would be getting it before I get mobilized overseas next month.

Hey David. Thanks for the chance at winning this. I have 5 kids and they all love to be on the computer at the same time. Our problem is that we are working with pre-2000 computers (Dell Optiplex G110 and Compaq Presario from Win98 years and just aquired HP which I cant even get to format and an old RM Laptop). I haven’t had much of a chance to rebuild any of the old ones but this would let me get all my kids involved (even the 3-year old) in making a computer they can call their own.

  3. After reading some of these hard luck stories trying to win a case, I feel like I should be donating something instead of trying to win. So please do not consider me, give it to someone who truly needs it. That will be a tough decision for you.

  4. NIce Looking case good luck to everyone hope it goes to someone who really needs it give it to a kid ;) thats what i would do p.s im not a kid

  5. Hey. I do not have a sad story to tell. i really haven’t had any plans to build a new box. I only was interested in this barebones because of the fans. man the ones on top sure would work great to dry my hair with will surfing. :P

I want to build my grandaughter a new computer,I have been teaching her about computers since she was 2 yrs. old she is now 8.She could open a word doc. and type her name before she could write it!When she went to school the first day the first thing she said was where is the computer?(this was in kindergarten) in the first grade the teacher was very surprised what she could do.I am trying to teach her about building web pages now.

  7. I would love to win this giveaway, because it would help me get started on my first homemade computer. My friends would love to come over to my house and play on my computer. This would also be the first giveaway that I have ever one. This giveaway would probably help to spark my intrest in the computer industry and might even help me gain enough knowledge to get a great job in the future.
Thank you for reading my comment, and good
    luck to everyone

I’m a very competitive person and winning this contest would mean I’m awesome! haha jkjk. Since receiving my laptop after entering college, I haven’t touched my desktop because it’s performance compared to my laptop is incomparable. Winning this contest would give me a reason to hop back onto a desktop. Now that I live at home instead at college, I don’t need the convenience of a laptop rather I need the power of a desktop. If I do win, I can guarantee you that I will be freezing my butt off the night before Black Friday. Hopefully I don’t turn into an ice sculpture. Good luck to all participants and may the best man/woman win!

Thanks for all the submissions, guys. I will be selecting a winner today and emailing that person. If they respond, they’ll get it. If not, I move onto the next person.

There have been a lot of great submissions to this contest. So, thanks again.

BTW, any comment placed after this one will not be considered for this giveaway. However, stay tuned because I will soon be announcing the next one. :-)

  10. Well my Gateway 700mhz was delivered December 2000 and is showing signs of not being able to keep up with the ever changing tech world. With that in mind it is time to build a new computer and that case would make a great starting point. Thanks for such an interesting site.

I built my last computer 2 years ago and I need to build a new now!
