What Do You Use Your Computer For? [POLL]

We all use our computer for different things.

Personally, I use mine to run an internet business. This means my web browser is pretty much always open and I am online all the time. I write blog post and I produce videos. I organize my photos and videos on the computer as well.

What about you?

  1. Hi Dave,

You should have a catagory for ‘All of the Above’

    :)

  2. Ray Boutwell /

I use my computer to communicate by email with my family and the officers at the ESGR. Also I keep info on the family reunion people(cousins). I print manuscripts containing info I develop from historical sources locally(newspapers, doctors logs, cemeteries, censuses etc). I’m retired but I work longer hours now than I ever have before. I was already disabled when the Apple II+ came out in the late 1970′s which makes me think I was born 20 years too early for the computer age. I think I’m well past 250,000 names typed into my computer.

  3. Hey Dave,
Got to go a long with all of the above. But mostly at the moment I’m doing audio stuff. Recording old records and tapes to burn to CD’s
Of course most of the records are in sad shape, so it’s been a pain in the butt. Not to mention the time it takes, there’s just no “fast” way of doing this.
Keep up the great work with your news letter!!

  4. pity you cant simply “tick all that apply”

that’d make a much more accurate poll

In all fairness to Dave, he did ask what do you ‘primarily’ use your computer for?

But I use mine for so many different purposes….one just doesn’t really cover it.
