A really nifty time saver when using a web browser is to control it by using simple mouse gestures. For example, whenever you need to go back to the previous page, instead of going to the back button at the top of the screen simply hold down the right mouse button and drag it to the left. Much quicker.
- To activate mouse gestures in Internet Explorer 7, use IE7 Pro. Here is a listing of mouse gestures IE7 Pro supports.
- To activate mouse gestures in Firefox, you can use the Mouse Gestures Redox extension.
I have recently started taking advantage of this ingenious shortcut and I find it is quickly becoming a ‘must have’ feature.

I recommend Firegestures over Mouse Gestures Redox, I found that Redox would not detect clearly obvious gestures and it annoyed me to no end, Firegestures detects them just about everytime.

Or simply install Maxthon because it have mouse gesture built in automatically without the need for any add-on or extention, I’ve been using Maxthon for such a long time it simply my number 1 prefered browser.
I gotta mention Opera here, because it has the best mouse gesture of ‘em all. It is one of the many feature that makes you an Operaholic.
I recommend Opera if you have’t tried it.
Wow. Really neat feature. Another option you left out. Download Opera. I believe they came out with mouse gestures first (I could be wrong on this). Reson why i dwlnd it way back when. There just isn’t enough “love” for this browser. Sigh.
I found a new mouse gesture software. It’s very simple and I use it a lot. Works great with Chrome. Check it out. It’s called LiveEdge at http://home.swipnet.se/zebware/ It works a little bit different than other mouse gesture softwares but once you get use to it it’s hard to surf with out it.
I use mgWindow Plus from Encsoft (http://www.mouse-gesture.com), supports all the browsers, IE, Firefox, Chrome and so on.
and can be used to control any windows.
