He is the brains, the thinker, the writer, the nerd.If you switched from 98 to XP but failed to convert your file system from FAT to NTFS, it is very easy to do so. (Reminder: back up your data before doing this!) Use Start -> cmd -> convert (Driveletter): /FS:NTFS. For example, for the C: drive, I would type in “convert C: /FS:NTFS” and pray for the best. You can convert any FAT drive to NTFS, but you cannot perform the reverse operation without the assistance of a commercial partioning/formatting program such as PartitionMagic.
