Cool Tool Of The Day: Visual.ly

Infographics, love ‘em or hate ‘em, just look better than plain text because it provides an interesting visual look to otherwise stolid statistics.

Visual.ly now allows you to generate infographics for Twitter or Facebook statistics all for free, so I decided to create one pitting the Twitter accounts @windows against @linux, and the end result is below. Yes, the graphic is huge, but that’s what infographics are supposed to look like.

I used zero artistic skill to make the above infographic, as visual.ly has several stock templates that look really good like the above.

  1. I can’t get in the create page… I just wanna know if it’s for free. 

    • It is, but you have to have an account to use it. The account is free. You can either create an account there, use your Twitter account or use your Facebook account. Any one of those 3 will work.
