Create Your Own Cursors

For you software developers, graphic artists or anyone else out there who is interested in creating your own mouse cursors, a free utility you should check out is RealWorld Cursor Editor.

This program has everything you would expect in a cursor editor, including:

  • Modify and create static (.cur) and animated cursors (.ani) of any size and color depth. Animations with custom frame sequence are supported.
  • RealWorld Cursor Editor can modify animations using drag and drop or copy and paste frames using clipboard.
  • Creating cursor from image

While creating custom cursors probably isn’t for everyone, it is a an easy way to add a unique touch to your Windows interface.
