CTRL-Z And Its Uses

Posted Mar 5, 2005 | by David Risley | No Comments

“Hey, I just discovered (or rediscovered?) something I didn’t know on Windows XP. Everybody knows that you can do a CTRL-Z in most word processors to undo something you wish you had not done. Well, it also works on the Windows Desktop! Delete a trash file. Now press CTRL-Z. Its back, without a visit to the recycle bin and its processes. Put a file in a different folder from the desktop. CTRL-Z and its back on the desktop without ever visiting the folder.

Sure will be a handy one. Now take the morning off and go get some coffee!”
