MSN Explorer is a Microsoft browser which comes with Windows. Basically, it integrates web browsing, email (as long as you use one of Microsoft’s email services) and Messenger. That’s great if that’s what you want, but most people use Internet Explorer or some other browser, and a separate email client of their choice. So, MSN Explorer just kind of sits there taking up space. You can remove it.
Go go the Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs. go to Add/Remove Windows components. Scroll through the list it gives you and uncheck MSN Explorer. It will give you a little warning which you can just click “Yes” on as long as you don’t use MSN as your internet provider. Click Next and follow the remaining prompts.

Thank you. That MSN Explorer thing was driving me crazy.
