Thank you !!

I too was at the end of my tether trying to get Microsoft's ever too eager %^&$ notifications to quit pestering me. (Don't it remind you of that yappy little dog in the cartoon -- "What're we gonna do now Spike, huh? Huh ?") Of course I tried XP's "help" utility, which gave the expected result. (Who says you can never achieve absolute zero?) The good things in life never change. So off it was to Google and from there to your website, where the answer was provided instantly. "How could I have missed that option on the Security Shield menu?" I asked myself. Easy: with all the needless junk and self-adulation Microsoft clutters their operating systems with, one eventually gets blind to anything that doesn't look like an obvious local menu item. Thanks again. Looks like you have a good site here, and I think I'll check out your subscriptions. Even if I don't want any more email than I already get, I'm ready to dig out my wallet in thanks for the invaluable little instruction I've just received.
