Display Folder Name in the Taskbar

This is a fairly simple tweak for hiding the file path of an open folder that is open (or minimized) in the taskbar, and instead, showing only the folder’s name. This may make it easier to figure out which folder is which, especially if you have a small number of them open.

Open up “My Computer”, “My Documents”, or just about any other folder that’s most convenient. Then go to “Tools” > “Folder Options” > “View” tab. Uncheck the “Display the full path in the title bar” option, and hit apply. Now the folder’s name should only appear. Hit OK to close the window.
