Easily Create Your Own Photo Mosaics

If you are unsure of what a mosaic is, it is simply a big picture made up of a bunch of smaller pictures which are tiled on a large grid. The effect is typically pretty neat. If you would like to make your own mosaics, then check out AndreaMosaic.

I have used this title and it is ridiculously easy to use. Just select your master photo (the picture to turn into a mosaic) and then your collection of photos which will be tiled to create the mosaic. That’s it. Click start and wait a few minutes and AndreaMosaic does the rest. You can create as many as you want using the free version with the only limitations being the number of tiles and source photos you can use (for these limitations to come into play you would need to be creating a huge mosaic, so most likely they would not).

If nothing else, this is a neat program to play around with and is good for coming up with creative and unique digital images.

  1. My pal was leaving for studies and i used andrea mosaic to cook something up for him. It turned out pretty well.

As mentioned, the program is pretty easy to use but some pointers:

    1) Large collection of photos is always a plus
    2) Take into consideration how large you want to be printing your mosaic on. The bigger the merrier, since it would allow you to use more tiles
    3) Also more tiles is not always better. You would want to have the max number of tiles for the size of medium you are printing on, such that each tile will turn out to be abt 0.7cm

Mosaics are wonderful gifts. They are cheap to make, takes up quite little time, and best of all they can carry more sentimental value than other expensive gift.s
