Easily Remove Preinstalled ‘Crap’

Whenever you purchase a new PC from a major computer manufacturer, typically it comes with lots of stuff you don’t want. This is very annoying because you have to either reformat your drive or manually remove each program. For a simple one step solution, check out PC Decrapifier:

The PC Decrapifier will uninstall many of the common trialware and annoyances found on many of the PCs from big name OEMs. Here is the current list of software and items that the PC Decrapifier can detect and remove. You get to see the list of items it detects and then choose what will be removed automatically.

Needless to say, this can be a huge time saver. While I have never personally used it (or had the need to), if anyone has please post your experience.

    Jason,

I checked out PC decrapifier at liutilities.com. I’m not sure if you are familiar with ‘Web Of Trust’ (WOT), but according to WOT, liutilities is rated as a ‘very unsatisfactory’ website. I’m not sure if you will be able to view the information at the following link without first becoming a member, but I’ll include it here in hopes that you can: http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/liutilities.com . After reading 8 pages of almost all negative comments such as ‘scam, fraud, phishing, viruses, malware, bad customer experience, etc., from people who ran the test and/or used software from this site, you may want to reconsider sending readers to the liutilities website.

    Sincerely,
    GinaPA

It works great, as a veteran tech……………..the mention above did not do the software any favors by misdirecting the software download & info page to “liutilities”
