Comments on: Edifier E3350 Speaker Review

Another challenge for Boss computer speakers. Edifier did come out lots of model but this one really impress me. I trust your ear to give good comment on this speaker. I will try find one at my local dealaer. Cheers

You won’t be disappointed. I’ve had them wired to my TV / Xbox / Computer ever since I did the review, and I absolutely love them. They really output like nothing I’ve ever used before.

I plan to buy this stuff probably next with along with Samsung LCD 19′….

It seems this speaker system would satisfy my needs in music for single room…

thanks for the review, haven’t heard the real sound on this but it seems a good sounds to hear and the design as well.

While I do not do audio production work for a living, I do spend between 10 and 20 hours a week in a concert hall, and close to 40 hours a week listening to music of some kind, either live or via my work computer. My ears are fairly mature, and having listened to many of the newer Bose systems, I find their quality to be pretty good. I know for a fact you can’t beat the clarity on their aviation headsets, but I will cede that I do not compare Bose to professional systems. I viewed them as the high end of the consumer market along with Klipsch, not just price, but quality. I have listened to some cheap and middle priced systems that suck compared to Bose.

I suppose the point I was trying to make, more precisely, was that this system is far superior to any Bose system for lots less money.

Sorry to offend the audio industry with my comparison to Bose, it was unintentional!

I have only been involved with computers now for some 6-7 years and I do respect you for what you know about them and all their workings and that is why I read your PCMech Newsletter etc., etc. HOWEVER, when it comes to audio you have as much to learn as I do about puters. Bose is possibly the biggest sound hoax ever foistered on the audio public! Do some reading, go to an audio store, hear some live music (un-amplified)and get your ears educated. I could be more caustic,but you have struck a raw nerve with the “Bose Sound”. I’ll say this…..it is unique!

I wouldn’t use Bose speakers as the standard by which to compare. I have a set of Klipsch speakers (also with a downward firing sub-woofer) that sound much crisper and cleaner than anything Bose has to offer.

Nice review. Those are cool looking speakers. By the way, in the audio industry, Bose is most definetly NOT considered a high quality product. I’d be willing to bet that those Edifier speakers sound better than any Bose system simply based on the fact that it’s a three way system (sub, mid, tweeter). Bose systems don’t have tweeters.

If you think these look unique, check out there E3300 speakers. I am surprised that such a design can produce such a vivid experience, and yet still cost hundreds less than that of true “high-end” equipment.
I am sure my next build will include a set of these impressive speakers.
