A really nifty feature of IE7 is the ability to export a table inside of a web page to Excel. Even if you are not a developer, this can be incredibly handy as static text, obviously, you cannot manipulate through a web browser. To export a page, simply right click anywhere on the page (but not in a data entry field) and select “Export to Microsoft Excel”. When you do this a wizard will open to walk you through importing the target table.
I’ve used this feature many times to bring tabular data directly into Excel so I can perform analysis on it (such as adding formulas, sorting, etc.) which is not available through the web interface. Try it when viewing your online banking information so you can get a list of transactions in a “usable” format.
