Ok, I just took a completely clean, unprotected install of XP and accessed this page/site a dozen or so times using IE7.

I then ran an online scan using Panda Security's Active Scan. It found nothing but cookies.

This is a false alarm from what I can tell.

It did more than leave a trojan fo rme. It screwed up my logon and now I'm trying a repair install. Although it's no fault of PCMech, I'm unsubscribing... I don't need to be clicking through unfamiliar websites.

This appears to be a false alarm.
Try typing the URL into a browser window... it forwards to a dead page, although the link probably isn't intended.
