A quick way to increase or decrease the font size of a document or webpage is to hold down the Control key (Ctrl) and adjust (turn) the scroll wheel of your mouse. This will temporarily increase or decrease the viewable font size, and can make those wretchedly small sized fonts readable. Keep in mind that this does not permanently adjust the font size in word processors, like Microsoft Word. Turning the scroll wheel toward you usually decreases the font size and turning the wheel away from you will increase the font size.
