Originally I used Google Reader for RSS feed reading but then I switched over to Bloglines because I liked the interface better. But then I learned that FeedDemon is free so I checked that out. I might be switching to that..? Not sure just yet. But it’s a darn good feed reader. See video below for details.

Hey Rich! Great review. I;m going to d/l this and try it. I used to use the in built reader in IE7 but obviously that sucks
I switched over to RSS Owl 2.0 M8(www.rssowl.org)which is a java based reader for RSS/RDF & Atom feeds.
Personally, I love it. I tried using Bloglines after your previous recommendation but it wasn’t for me – I prefer an email-like reader that enables you to save time, and Bloglines didn’t really seem like what I was looking for.
Hopefully FeedDemon is better than RSS Owl!
Well I tested out FeedDemon, and I do agree in that it is a very good feed reader. It appears to be a bit buggy (for me at least) when viewing websites from the feed in it’s internal browser window as I keep getting a RunTime error, but other than that, I may very well have found a new reader!
Oh yeah – it uses less resources than RSS Owl also, and that’s ALWAYS a good thing!

personally, I love to use Bloglines
It is way too much better than google reader.!
and although Feed demon is something cool, I am reluctant to use that only because that it is not within the browser.I would prefer managing my feeds within the browser itself. So sticking with bloglines.
Anyway, nice review Rich!
good work
