There are tons of Windows shell extensions, applications and tricks out there which do everything from copying the current folder location to the clipboard to file splicing and merging. If you have lots of these types of tools that you make use of, you may want to give the free utility, FilerFrog, a look.
FilerFrog is a swiss-army knife for Windows Explorer which features (among others):
- Remembering last used copy and move locations
- Empty file/folder deletion
- Easy creation of a list of files and folders
- File renaming tools
- Bulk image resizing and watermarking
You access all these functions via a right click from Windows Explorer so there is essentially no ‘master’ interface.
Again, if you use multiple tools which perform the actions FilerFrog handles, perhaps this add-on is for you.
