Out of the box, Firefox comes Google search ready. Both the default home page and the search strip return the respective Google results, so an add-on which makes improvements to your Firefox Google searches is OptimizeGoogle.
OptimizeGoogle is a Firefox extension that enhances Google search results by adding extra information (like links to Yahoo, Ask, MSN etc) and removing unwanted information (like ads and spam). All features are optional.
For a lot of us Google is probably the primary, if not the only, search engine we use, so this extension makes some welcome improvements. To me the feature which adds the respective search links to other websites across the top is incredibly useful.
So if you utilize Google searches quite a bit, this is a add-on worth considering.
