I have been a long time user of Internet Explorer up to version 8. I disliked version 9 when it was launched because I never liked combining the search and address bar into one. The venerable IE8 is now old and tends to freeze in pages full of scripting (such as Facebook) and for this reason I am slowly transitioning to Firefox. Never had issues with any version of IE, never had any security issue even with version 6.

Ah the good ole days. These days I’m waving the Chrome/Chromium flag in anticipation of one day finding the corpse of IE.

Back in the 3.6 days when the Fx browser didn’t suck, yeah it was good to be an Fx fan back then.

No need for regrets when it comes to software. Use what works and use it without apology. If Chrome works for you and you like it, stick with it.
