For the Mac Fans: Microsoft Office 2008

Windows users who use Microsoft Office are now enjoying the latest and greatest from the Microsoft camp, but Mac users have not been so lucky. The current version of Office for the Mac is MS Office 2004.

Not to fear, Mac users, Microsoft will have a new version of Office for the Mac in 2008.

A web site is currently online so you can read all about it at www.MacOffice2008.com.

Even though I am a huge fan of the freely available OpenOffice (which works on Windows, Mac and Linux,) if you are a die-hard Mac user and prefer the MS Office suite, it’s definitely worth checking out.

  1. That’s okay. I use a Mac in large part because I hate Microsoft and they make crappy software…so why would I want to buy their software for Mac? I don’t mind the wait at all :) Take 8 years like you did with Vista for all I care!
