If you like keeping a journal and are interested in doing your writing online, a service you might want to take a look at is Penzu. Unlike a blog which is (usually) publicly available, Penzu is an online journal which is completely private and features:

• Penzu was designed as a private journal first. You can write freely and never worry that someone will read your entries.
• Want to share what you are thinking? Send your entries to others. And if you want to keep your identity a secret, just click Anonymous!
• Never lose your entries again! Your work is saved as you type, so you never have to worry about saving.

One nice feature is you can try the service without signing up. This is a really useful way to determine if it is something you will like to use.
