As you might know, clicking a link using the scroll wheel button in Firefox opens the respective link in a new tab.
Did you know clicking the wheel button on the back, forward and home button opens the respective page in a new link as well? This is a great shortcut in the event you open a link inside of an article and want go back to the article but keep the page you just opened available.
Additionally, you can use the scroll wheel button to click on search buttons (like the Google toolbar) to have the results returned in a new tab.
