Google Analytics Alternative

Perhaps the most well know and widely used web traffic analysis tool is Google Analytics. While this is certainly a powerful engine, if you are wanting to evaluate other options, check out Clicky.

When you check out the feature comparison (consider the source though), Clicky stacks up quite well against the other major players and offers some compelling features:

  • Real-time updates.
  • Detailed user path tracking.
  • Twitter analytics.
  • Works without use of Javascript.
  • Constant updates.

Clicky offers a limited free package, but also offers very competitively priced premium plans. This is definitely worth a look if you are serious about recording traffic data.
