When you download Chrome now there is an option right up front whether you want to share info with Google or not whereas there wasn't before (was sort of buried). Some have labeled this browser as a big Big Brother-ish/creepy, but I think that's an exaggeration. It's just a browser and you can opt to turn all all the share-info with Google if you want.
