Even Geocities, back in the day, was better then this. I used Wordpress anyways and would do a Wordpress static site over this ANY DAY. But I can still make my professional websites with no GOOGLE anywhere on the page. You get a subdomain. That's semi-professional, and allows you to do things such as add a favicon. b. They didn't add anything to the pages. You could do whatever you want! No "powered by Google Pages".Now they took away both of those advantages. I’m disappointed in Google. Really.
