   Maybe this could do with an update at this point? (March 2009)

   AGP graphics cards are very rare these days and are only used on ancient motherboards.
   CD-ROMs are now basically obsolete. DVD-RW is the outgoing type of drive; but everyone seems to prefer flash media these days.
   IDE drives are being phased out in favour of SATA. Solid-state drives are on the market too.
   DDR RAM is only used in older computers now and is more expensive than DDR2, which is currently the most common. DDR3 is also in use, is faster, and is used on top-end motherboards. (Although it’s currently rather expensive.)
   Windows XP Pro is still currently the most used operating system; but when Windows 7 launches as RTM I think that’ll change. Windows Vista was arse IMO. – It made Dave go over to a Mac it was so bad.
