It’s March, and you know what that means!
No, not March Madness (although that does count).
It means that you should be able to use PayPal in your local Home Depot now.
Back in January it was reported that PayPal did intend to exist as an in-store payment option in more than 2,000 Home Depot stores by this month.
If you’re a regular to your local Home Depot and have been there recently, post a comment on whether you’ve seen the PayPal payment option or not. And if you actually tried it, then yes, absolutely post a comment and tell everyone how good or not good the payment method worked out for you.
Now for those of you thinking, "Yep. That definitely qualifies as Worst Idea Ever, at least for 2012", don’t be so sure. PayPal at this point is not really unlike other means of electronic payment, save for the fact the method is slightly different. It’s just a different way of paying, which some of you may find convenient, especially if you use PayPal often.
And again, if you’ve tried it, post a comment on the experience using the PayPal payment method at the ‘Depot.
