Half year ago I upgraded - added more ram. The system recognise 900MB of ram now. The 1GHZ CPU was not running well on 133mhz bus speed , because the mobo does not support this CPU 1GHZ/133mhz but PIII 1Ghz 100 FSB FCPGA. So I had to lower the bus speed to obtain stable running OS. Now the CPU is running at 944MHZ with a bus speed of 122mhz I think ? The OS is running very stable. Before changing to 1GHZ cpu , I was running a P3 650MHZ overclocked to 866MHZ with rising the bus speed from the 100mhz to 133mhz....running with no problems. This is my oldest PC and I still don't plan to change it. As long its working.Changed and upgarded almost everything , but the mobo rest the same ;) The BX master mobo is not fully compatible with XP since the sp2 existance, so you need to change the type of computer from ACPI complaint to Standard PC althought the mobo is ACPI complaint. Then I had to instal the APM control to get the sistem shut down correctly. If you let the mobo on ACPI complaint I have experienced very often a system freeze...but thats the other story.

I have many BX systems still in operation. While I have never tried to run a 133mhz chip in one, I have upgraded many to run Tualatin processors using Upgradeware and Powerleap adapters. I'm currently writing this on a Soyo 6ba+ motherboard with a Powerleap 1.3ghz Celeron combination. I'm wondering how long this combination will last. It's been 9 years, and no end in sight.

Eventualy today I upgared the cpu with 1000mhz (slot 1 of course). i have 750 mb of ram and using a bus speed 133mhz. This mobo is the real legend. i remmember when I bought it 7 years ago.
