Hosing Off Windows

Do you remember back when you first installed Windows or when you first bought your computer? Remember how fast it was? It sat there waiting for you to tell it to do something. and when you did, it was just plain quick. Now, when you do so, you wait for the hard drive to click itself to death and it starts to smoke when you play Solitaire.

Well, what the hell? Simply put, Windows gets clogged up with use. Installing and uninstalling proggys, downloading things off the net, all of it leaves a dirty residue over your operating system. Don\’t go out and buy a new CPU or a faster hard drive. Yeah, it will help, but you can do some things to minimize the clogs and speed up your system again. This article will show you how to run some Drano through those rusty cyber-pipes of your PC and , just maybe, revive it again.

The Choices

Well, there are two ways to freshen up your PC. One is to uninstall unneeded programs, freshen up your registry, etc. We will go through that below. Second is the dreaded phrase: \”format and reinstall\”. This isn\’t as bad as you think, although it is more work. But, this method will give you the best results as it will clean out crap it is hard to get to otherwise.
