If you go here using the Windows Internet Explorer web browser:

www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/Step1.aspx

..you can adjust your ClearType settings in Windows XP without installing the ClearType tuner PowerToy Control Panel applet.

Pretty nifty if you asked me. See video below for details on how it works.
