Something that can be used for comedic purposes or legitimate censoring (for whatever reason) are 1000Hz tones. You can use censor tones easily with Windows Movie Maker and Audacity.
If you want to go the route of doing this, bear in mind it does take practice and patience to get it right – but with this video at least you’ll have a head start.
